About
Your website should do more than look good. It should work for your business.
Arcline Digital is a locally owned, independent digital studio in Laguna Beach, California. We combine custom website development with practical business automation — the after-hours intake, booking and follow-up that turn a good-looking site into one that brings work in.
No account managers, no offshore build team you were not told about, no junior quietly doing the work while a senior name sits on the proposal. When you write in, the people who build your site read it. When something breaks at an awkward hour, the people who built it fix it.
Studios usually try to sound bigger than they are. We would rather tell you exactly what you are buying, including the parts that could count against us: a small, independent team that takes on a limited number of builds and does them properly.
Capacity, honestly
We run a limited number of builds at once. If your timeline does not fit, we will say so on the first call rather than accepting the work and letting the schedule slip.
The upside of the limit is that your project is never the one being squeezed to cover somebody else's overrun. A studio juggling twenty builds has to triage. We do not.
What happens if Arcline is unavailable
Fair question, and the one most small studios dodge.
Every site is built on standard tooling that any competent developer can pick up. No proprietary system holds your business hostage. You get your own accounts for hosting, the domain and the code repository, documented handover notes, and admin access from day one.
Put plainly: if Arcline disappeared tomorrow, your site would keep running and another developer could take over without a rebuild. Most agency clients cannot say the same, because the agency owns the stack.
Why direct access beats a bigger org chart
At an agency, your brief passes through an account manager, then a project manager, then a designer, then a developer. Each handoff loses detail. You explain that your booking system has a strange quirk with Tuesday appointments, and three weeks later the site launches without it.
Here you explain it once, to the person implementing it. Decisions happen in one message instead of a meeting. When you want a change, you are not paying for four people to be briefed on why.
Agencies earn their fee on large, complicated programmes of work with many moving parts. For a small or mid-size business getting a website, a chatbot and some search work done properly, that coordination layer is cost with no output attached to it.
How the work runs
- 1. A short call or a written exchange, whichever you prefer. You describe the business and what the site has to do.
- 2. A written quote with a fixed price and a defined scope.
- 3. Build, with you seeing progress at agreed points instead of one dramatic reveal at the end. Two rounds of revisions are included.
- 4. Launch, plus a handover of accounts and a walkthrough of anything you will edit yourself. Bugs are fixed free for 30 days after that.
- 5. Optional monthly care plan for hosting, updates and small changes. No pressure if you would rather manage it yourself.
